As we have expected, this device has advanced features than its predecessor. Design: -The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a new design over its predecessor boasting a soft-touch, faux leather back. And if we talk about display then Note 3 has 5.7 inch display than Note 2 (5.5 inch). The main point to be noticed is that, instead of bigger display than its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is still lighter than Note 2(168 grams than 182 grams). If we see in detail then we came to know about the display of these two devices.
In Galaxy Note 2 Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen, 16M colors display is there. And the resolution we got in the Note 2 was 720 x 1280 pixels, 5.5 inches (~ 267 ppi pixel densities). Whereas same type of display is used i.e. Super AMOLED capacitive Touch screen but if we talk about the resolution then we’ll get 1080 x 1920 pixels, 5.7 inches (~386 ppi pixel density).
Interface: - S-Pen is the feature which is introduced in Samsung Galaxy Note 3 like we have seen it in Samsung Galaxy S4. This is completely different feature from its predecessor as we know Note 3 is the 1st member of Note family in which S-pen is introduced as user interface device. There’s the new air command menu that gets initiated in a bit of a weird way. You have to press the S Pen’s button and do a hover gesture over the screen. Once you’ve opened the menu you have the option to do a bunch of things, all of which are more or less different variants of note-taking.
Operating System: – Note 3 is laced with latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean where as we know that Note 2 had 4.1.1 Jelly Bean which is upgrade-able to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. So we can easily find out the huge advancement in the OS of these two members of Note family. Here Note 3 is much advanced as compared to its predecessor.
The Camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has 16 MP Camera, twice as camera used in Note 2. Simply we can easily find out the advancements of Note 3 as compared to Note 2 by its Camera. 8 MP rear 3264×2448 pixels with 1.9 MP front Camera is there in Note 2, but in Note 3, it has 16 MP rear Camera 4128 x 3096 pixels with 2 MP 1080p@30fps front camera which’ll give you good picture quality as compared to its predecessor Note 2.
Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Vs Galaxy Note 3 Specifications
Processor: -The main lead and advancements which are introduced in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is in its CPU. As compared to Quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and Exynos 4412 Quad Chip-set in Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3 has Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 (LTE model)/ Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 (3G model) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip-set is introduced in Samsung galaxy Note 3. So we can easily distinguish between these two processors. The processor of a device describes its advancement, no need to discuss is further, and you can easily find the difference.
